We have spent less time in Czechia than in some of our other European destinations, but we still thoroughly enjoyed our time in South Bohemia, especially the area around Ceský Krumlov. Located just north of the Austrian border, this part of the country pairs naturally with a trip through central Austria and offers a quieter mix of historic towns, castles, countryside, and smaller cultural stops.
Our Czechia guides currently focus mostly on South Bohemia and the surrounding highlights, including Ceský Krumlov, Hluboká Castle, Holašovice, Ceské Budejovice, and smaller sites like Dívcí Kámen. While this is not yet one of the largest destination sections on the site, it brings together the places we personally visited and found most useful for planning a short stay or regional detour.
